We had a great time at the point. Very spontaneous wanted to catch a good game . First off, they played all my favorite music. Sat at the bar. I had a burger and they graciously substituted the bun for sourdough bread yummy sweet potato fries. And the Chardonnay were not too shabby ...

The happy hour deals are solid, and mozzarella sticks are decent. The burger was really great and hit the spot. Salad could use a bit more dressing since some bites were dry. The atmosphere was lively and lots of screens everywhere to watch the games. Seems like everyone there knows each other and gives a nice feeling to the place. Service is a little slow, so expect to wait a while for things like drinks or checks. But overall good experience

I come here all the time with my friends. We love this place so much, we come here regularly. The environment is fun, upbeat and just a good time all around. All the food on their menu seems very well put together and seems very fresh and put together one ingredient at a time instead of frozen. Their seared Ahi is so delicious. I love the light char on the outside of the ahi adding a little taste of smoke to it. I got the salad, I thought there was too much oil and not enough flavor in the dressing sadly. The pizzas are an amazing go to, and the chicken nuggets were very fresh and hand made for sure. Service was spot on per usual. I love bringing people here for a good time.

I was in the area on business and wanted to have a good sit down meal at a spot I hadn't tried before. The Point came up, so I decided to give it a try. Reagan and Kaylie (trainee at the time) were manning the front desk. They were so welcoming and kind! They went so far beyond what is expected that I grabbed their names to note in this review. Talked about the menu, their favorite items, etc. really well done. Then I was sat with a view out the window of the ocean, which was fantastic! The waiter came over and was exceptional (sadly I checked my notes and didn't write his name down because I was sure I would remember. Peter maybe?). He was friendly and funny and very knowledgeable. He answered my questions, asked me what I liked and gave me suggestions. I ended up with the burger that was on the special seasonal menu (again, the name is not in my notes ‍). It was a stuffed burger version of The Point burger. So so good. Terribly messy - dribbled all over the place - but entirely worth it. The atmosphere is like an upscale, woodsy American bar/restaurant, and it was really enjoyable. The view is second to none because the ocean is just so great. What put this whole visit over the top were the people. The three I mentioned were exceptional examples of good customer service.

What a fun find! Sitting inside near the window, offered nice views of PCH, the hills of San Clemente, a peek at the beach, and Dana Point's Lantern District sign... and pleasant breezes. Our bartender/server, Dianni, was the best: friendly-&-energetic, attentive, and ... fun! We just went in for a drink and a quick bite. Well drinks were good! We'd shared the Doheny Salad and Lumpia; the salad was a generous portion as well as fresh and tasty; while it was difficult to clearly identify the water chestnuts and green onion in the lumpia, we enjoyed the crisp and lightly-fried thinner-than-traditional egg rolls atop a tasty little salad. Parking spaces in the lot are limited; fortunately, we landed the last space. We look forward to returning!

The Point is a true sports bar with a great vibe, good food, and lots of TVs. Game sound is on and no matter where you sit you have a view. They even have a special booth that sits around eight depending on the size of your people that has its own television in it. My people and I have been going there for certain NFL games and the bar accommodates rival teams equally well. In fact, we have seen more than one meet up where a group of let's say Lions fans find each other cheering across the bar and joins tables in the midst of a hoard of Chargers fans, and everyone has fun. The food is bountiful and incredibly tasty. Excellent bar food. And there is quite a quantity of drinks catering to all allergy types and flavor profiles. Plus in the summer, or if you're willing to brave slightly cool weather, The Point has outdoor patio seating with TVs and activities like cornhole and darts. I highly recommend The Point.

Great atmosphere and staff, delicious food too. One of my favorite places in Dana Point for sure. This time we had the salmon plate, the ahi tuna bowl, a huge chicken sandwich and the famous nachos.

After the Sawdust festival we stopped here on our way back south. Inside building with an open air feeling with a great view from inside. They also have an outside area. Our waiter was fun and the food was good. There were seven of us so we ordered drinks and appetizers. We tried the lumpia ($13.45) which was not what I expected. I live in NC and we had a place that made fresh lumpia so I was shocked to see packaged lumpia. It was okay but I would not get them again. Once you have fresh lumpia you can't eat packaged. We also tried the fish tacos ($13.45) and they were pretty good. Probably the best out of the food we tried. Someone got a chicken burger ($16.95) , which was a good size burger and they said it was good. It came with sweet poto fries. Nothing jumped out at us but the place just has a good vibe. If I lived here I would visit often. It's a fun place.
